We are looking for staff to support people with complex needs and learning disabilities to live as independently as they can in the community, in Scunthorpe. You will provide person-centred support to enable our service users to live a fulfilling life within their local community and achieve positive outcomes. You will be expected to support with personal care, administer medications, and have positive relationships with their families and involved professionals.
Some of the people we support in Scunthorpe can demonstrate behaviour which is challenging, and some have complex physical support needs, but you will be supported and trained in how to assist them. Full training is provided as well as the opportunity for further professional development.
We are looking for Support Workers who are confident, energetic, caring and person-centred. Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of people with learning disabilities. Experience is beneficial, however, we are looking for staff with the right values who want to enable vulnerable people to reach their full potential and live a happy life.
You will be an enthusiastic team player and flexible to work on a 24-hour rota system over 7 days.
