We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team and ensure that Arundel continues to deliver high-quality, compliant care in line with CQC Regulations, Health & Social Care Act 2008, and Devon County Council contractual standards.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations and governance of the home
  • Maintaining full compliance with CQC fundamental standards and internal policies
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing staff through supervision, training, and appraisal
  • Managing rotas, budgets, and staffing levels effectively
  • Liaising with professionals, families, and local authorities to ensure person-centred outcomes
  • Driving continuous improvement, safeguarding, and quality assurance initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Adults – Residential Management) or equivalent (or working towards)
  • Previous experience in a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager role within adult mental-health or residential care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC KLOEs, safeguarding, and person-centred approaches
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A proactive and compassionate management style
