We are currently seeking a compassionate Community Care Worker to provide essential care and support to individuals in need within our community. The role involves assisting with daily activities, providing personal care, and ensuring the well-being of our service users.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care services to individuals in their home settings
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer medication following prescribed guidelines
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to service users
  • Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring individuals when necessary
  • Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the individual's condition

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in patient care, senior care, or nursing is desirable
  • Knowledge of nursing home procedures and hospice care practices
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
  • Proficiency in medication administration and adherence to medication schedules
  • Experience in dementia care and understanding of related challenges
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude towards others

We do also require all staff to do a share of weekend hours.
