Introduction:
I am a 58-year-old lady in a wheelchair and due to being young at heart, this can be very frustrating for me. An opportunity has arisen for someone to join my small team of support. I love to go Swimming/Aquafit; going out for coffee and going to the Gym. I have two adorable black cats who are so important to me.
Duties:
- To support with Personal Care needs, Medication and Meal prep for Healthy Eating.
- Supporting with exercise, Light housework, Admin and Filing tasks.
- Assistance with making phones calls, like booking appointments etc.
- Support with Access into the Community
- Attend appointments
- And lastly support with looking after my cats, feeding them, making sure they have plenty of water to drink and the cleaning out of their litter tray.
Hours:
Negotiable, under review, to fit appointment times on a 2 week rolling rota and to include cover for sickness and Holidays.
Rate: £12.21 to £13.00 per hour, depending on qualifications/experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent time keeping skills
- Must have a good level of English
- A Confidence to handle phone calls
- Like Cats
- Being a good emotional Support when attending appointments
Desired Experience:
- Open and Willing to learn
- An understanding of Mental Health
- A Driving License
