Are you a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults within our community? We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our supportive and forward thinking Adult Social Care team.
About the Role
In this part‑time position (0.6), you will play a key role in delivering high quality, person‑centred social work practice. You will work with adults with a range of complex needs, empowering individuals to live independently and safely while ensuring statutory duties and best practice standards are met.
Social Worker Career Pathway
We have implemented the first phase of a new Social Worker Career Pathway within our Adults Services, with vacancies at the Social Worker (Grade F) or Experienced Social Worker (Grade G) levels. The roles align with the Professional Capability Framework (PCF) for Social Workers, providing a robust structure for all local authorities to standardise professional capabilities and offer a clear career pathway. Successful candidates will be assessed against the PCF domains and may be appointed at either level, with the possibility of progression to the Experienced Social Worker level through a portfolio of supporting evidence.

Qualifications and requirements
- This role requires a DBS disclosure.
- This role requires Social Work England Registration (SWE).
