The predicted salary is between 37000 - 44000 £ per year.

This role is central to delivering a Prevent, Reduce and Delay approach, supporting people to maximise independence, remain connected to their communities and avoid unnecessary escalation of need. There will be a focus on supporting the teams to strive for best practice and quality assurance.

As an Advanced Social Worker you will:

  • Be part of the locality leadership team and work closely with the Principal Social Worker.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance to the team, demonstrating strong legal literacy and a thorough understanding of statutory duties and social work legislation.
  • Be skilled and competent when offering support in cases of high complexity and risk.
  • Demonstrate confidence in working with students and newly qualified staff and those with identified gaps in learning.
  • Offer creative solutions to improve practice and opportunities for reflective learning.
  • Support individual and whole service Safeguarding work.
