To work as part of a team providing high-quality care and support to service users residing at The Old Rectory. The role involves promoting independence, dignity, and respect while supporting individuals in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively as part of a care team to deliver person‑centred support.
  • Provide and maintain high-quality, supportive relationships with service users.
  • Acknowledge and promote the individual rights, choices, privacy, and dignity of each service user.
  • Support service users with daily living activities in accordance with their care plans.
  • Work independently with service users when required.
  • Participate in a flexible shift system, including day shifts, evening shifts, and sleep-in duties.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to senior staff.
  • Follow all health and safety, safeguarding, and organisational policies and procedures.

Training and Development

A comprehensive training programme will be provided. Employees are encouraged to work towards a Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Level 2 and Level 3 in Health and Social Care (previously NVQ). Ongoing professional development opportunities are available.
