Protyre Autocare is looking for a customer focused MOT Technician to join our team. We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities. As an MOT Tester / Technician you will carry out MOTs and mechanical repairs as required.

Location: Protyre Pembroke, new home for Stoddart Tyres

Salary: £32,000, £3,600+ bonus to be earned

Essential:

  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)
  • Valid MOT Licence

About the role:

  • Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
  • Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements.
  • General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.
  • Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments.
  • Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations.
  • Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.
  • Conduct any reasonable request / tasks as deemed necessary by the management team.

About you:

  • A valid MOT Licence.
  • You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, general servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
