Role Description
This is a part time or full‑time on‑site role for a Machinist, located in Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machining tools, fabricating precision components, and conducting regular inspections to ensure product quality. Additional day‑to‑day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, performing equipment setups, and collaborating with the production team to meet project deadlines. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential in this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models would be ideal
- Skills in performing quality inspections
- Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting machining processes
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and best practices
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus
- Experience with working with leather upholstery at a high quality is a bonus
