We are looking for a delivery-driven Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of both customer-facing and internal projects across Protos Networks’ managed services and professional services portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to establish, grow, and shape the PMO function, focusing on ensuring projects are delivered in a controlled, consistent, and commercially sound way, while maintaining an outstanding customer experience.

You will be responsible for coordinating people, processes, and technology to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality. Working closely with Pre-Sales, Technical Delivery, Service Operations, and Finance, you will ensure projects are set up correctly from the outset, managed with transparency throughout, and completed with full commercial and contractual clarity. You will be someone who brings structure and momentum, remains composed under pressure, and can confidently engage with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Project Delivery
  • Take ownership of projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring clear planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Maintain control of scope, risks, and issues, ensuring any changes are documented and agreed.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with what has been sold, avoiding scope creep through structured change control.
  • Lead regular internal and customer-facing project meetings, providing clear updates and maintaining visibility.
  • Coordinate internal technical teams, third parties, and partners to ensure effective delivery.
  • Customer Engagement
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide clear communication around timelines, dependencies, and responsibilities.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
    • Handle challenges professionally, maintaining trust and confidence even in complex situations.
  • Commercial Oversight
    • Monitor project performance against budget, time, and margin expectations.
    • Ensure accurate tracking of time, milestones, and deliverables to support correct revenue recognition.
    • Identify and manage any changes to scope early, ensuring appropriate approvals are in place.
  • Process & Continuous Improvement
    • Deliver projects using Protos Networks’ project delivery standards and frameworks.
    • Ensure documentation is complete and consistent.
    • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and operational efficiency.
    • Support smooth handover into ongoing service, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and customer onboarding.
    About You
    • Experience delivering IT infrastructure, SD-WAN, LAN, WAN, Wireless, Cloud, or Security projects within an MSP or IT services environment.
    • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong understanding of modern IT environments, including networking, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and cyber security services and solutions.
    • Able to balance time, cost, quality, and commercial outcomes, with an awareness of how delivery decisions impact profitability.
    • You are highly organised and methodical, able to bring clarity to complex situations. You remain calm under pressure, communicate with confidence, and ensure progress is maintained across all work streams. You take ownership, drive accountability, and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
    Skills & Experience
    • Project Management Tools: Experience with platforms such as HaloPSA, Monday.com, or Microsoft Planner.
    • Knowledge: Understanding of Cisco and Meraki technologies and solutions is preferred.
    • Project Control: Strong capability in planning, scheduling, risk/issue management, and dependency tracking.
    • Knowledge of Logistics Management, including coordinating supply chains, schedules, and project requirements effectively.
    • Communication: Able to clearly communicate with technical teams, customers, and senior stakeholders.
