The role involves combining your natural sales and communication skills with digital marketing. Proton’s Affiliate team is one of the main acquisition channels for the company. The affiliate team recruits and builds relationships with digital content creators, influencers, and websites to generate sales, amplifying the reach and impact of Proton’s suite of privacy-focused products. You will be responsible for growing key partnerships with online publishers, blogs, and networks, ensuring their sales funnels are optimised, while also researching, recruiting, and negotiating new partnerships.
What you will do:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with affiliate partners.
- Optimising existing affiliate performance: Analyse and identify areas that are under-performing, and work with affiliate partners to improve performance.
- Researching, identifying, and recruiting new affiliate partnerships, targeting both affiliates already in the industry and those that are new to the space.
- Collaborating with PR and product teams to ensure partners have all the latest product updates and releases.
Job requirements:
- 2+ years experience in digital marketing, account management, business development, or sales.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Working knowledge of at least two of the following performance marketing disciplines: content marketing, PR, SEO, social media, and online advertising.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence analysing data.
- Account management experience in managing partnerships, and building and maintaining relationships.
- Experience with digital marketing tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise multiple responsibilities based on ROI and business value.
- You’re a fast learner driven to excel in your field.
- Experience with conversion rate optimisation.
- Experience with Google Analytics.
- Existing network of relevant contacts.
