We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Recruiter to drive our hiring strategy and recruiting execution. We’re looking for an experienced recruiter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments to join this hybrid role in Cambridge, MA, partnering directly with our Executive Leadership team on hiring.

You will own full-cycle recruiting for high-priority roles, lead employer branding initiatives, manage our ATS, and oversee recruiting events—all while creating a world-class candidate experience. This role is high-impact: you’ll be instrumental in shaping Proton’s growth and talent foundation.

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for critical roles across Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and create strategic hiring plans aligned to growth.
  • Manage Proton’s overall recruiting strategy, including employer branding, recruiting events, and leveraging diverse sourcing methods to proactively attract top talent.
  • Manage and optimize Greenhouse ATS, ensuring accurate data, reporting, and efficient workflows.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes and candidate experience with data-driven best practices.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to leadership on talent market insights, compensation benchmarking, and scaling strategies.
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics to leadership, using data to inform decision-making.

Benefits:

  • Company stock options: We believe everyone should own a part of something they help build, so we offer company equity to all employees.
  • Flexible schedule: Work is important to us. As is being flexible. We know life doesn’t always land outside of a 9-5 schedule and make space for you to live your life.
  • Unlimited Required PTO: We offer unlimited PTO, and we make sure everyone takes at least 2 weeks off per year.
  • Company wellness days: In addition to company holidays, we offer wellness days, when the whole company takes a day off to rest and recuperate.
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave: 12 weeks paid parental benefit for all parents (birthing, non-birthing, adopting, fostering).
  • Health benefits: Get access to great healthcare benefits.
  • 401k with employer contribution: We believe it’s important to help our team plan for the future. For U.S. employees (for now), we directly contribute a 3% match of your salary to a 401k.
  • Company-paid off-sites: Enjoy in-person brainstorming and team-building. All expenses covered so you can focus on bonding with the entire team.

Qualifications:

  • Have 2–5+ years of recruiting experience in high-growth SaaS or startup environments.
  • Have a track record of hiring across technical and non-technical roles.
  • Thrive in creating structure out of ambiguity, and enjoy owning both strategy and hands-on execution.
