Bolton Talent Solutions is recruiting Commercial Assistants – Shop to support Front of House operations within on-site retail at Bolton College. This is a temporary role until the end of term, ideal for reliable and customer-focused individuals seeking flexible daytime work. Candidates do not need to be available for all days or times, as multiple staff will be recruited and placed on a rota to provide up to 40 hours of cover per week overall.

- Pay: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) £12.71 base rate £1.53 holiday pay

Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operating a till and handling payments accurately
- Replenishing and merchandising stock
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the shop
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the outlet
Essential Requirements
- Valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (retail or hospitality preferred)
- Confidence using a till and handling transactions
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
