Protocol Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in a state of the art special needs school in Kingston Upon Thames to start after half term or ASAP. This inclusive school offers teaching assistant the chance to work with all ages such as early years, primary and secondary students and will provide training throughout the role. This particular school are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children of all ages, and are passionate about making a positive impact in students learning and development. No experience is required, but commitment, passion and dedication are key attributes the school are looking for. As a teaching assistant you will be working in small class sizes of 6 – 8 students per class with special needs that include autism, speech and language difficulties and complex needs. If successful you will support students with their set curriculum, which is tailored to meet the students needs, developing speech & language skills, teach vocabulary and comprehension through visual resources, support students in cores subjects such as numeracy and literacy and also assist in creative lessons such as art, music, swimming, cooking, K9 therapy and sensory play.
