We're looking for a Horticulture Trainer & Assessor to deliver engaging training across our plant science provision, supporting students, apprentices, and adult learners to achieve their goals.
What you'll do:
- Deliver practical and classroom-based horticulture and plant science training.
- Assess and support learners on study programmes and apprenticeships.
- Maintain growing areas, planting spaces, and polytunnels.
- Support commercial activities, including plant production and sales.
- Build relationships with employers and industry partners.
What we're looking for:
- Industry experience in horticulture or plant science.
- Teaching, training, or assessing experience.
- Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA, or equivalent).
- Level 3 qualification in Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related subject.
Salary: £29,455 - £32,515
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
