An established FE College in Mansfield & Ashfield area is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Trainee Teacher or Teacher of Plumbing to join its forward‑thinking Building Services team. About The Role
You will deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of plumbing programmes. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting learners to achieve their goals, and contributing to curriculum development within the department. This post carries a teaching commitment of 836 delivery hours per year.
What We're Looking For
Essential qualities include:
- A Level 3 plumbing qualification (or higher).
- A teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and professional standards.
Desirable qualities include:

Salary and Benefits
Up to £44,162 per annum (including market supplement), depending on qualifications and experience. 44 days annual leave (including bank holidays and concessionary days), pro rata for part‑time roles. Access to the Teachers' Pension Scheme. Potential eligibility for a Levelling Up Premium Payment of up to £6,000 for early‑career FE teachers. Travel between sites may be required.
