Job Opening: Multi-Skilled Tutor (Joinery with Plastering) – Doncaster Based

We are currently recruiting for a highly organised, qualified Pre-Employment Construction Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will embrace our ethos to ensure high-quality learner completion.

Role responsibilities:

1. Deliver curriculum to develop learners\’ knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
2. Complete all learner and course documentation, including learner files and tracking documents.
3. Mentor, observe, and assess learners, providing feedback to meet standards and attain qualifications.
4. Provide information, advice, and guidance for learners’ development and progression.
5. Meet company, funding, and awarding organization requirements.
6. Assess learners’ e-portfolio evidence to verify achievements.

The person & qualifications:

• Experience in classroom delivery.
• Experience working with diverse learners.
• IT literacy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes.
• Enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience within Construction is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications:

• Teaching qualification (minimum PTLLS or Level 3 AET).
• Assessor award or qualification.
• Level 3 qualification or occupational competence.
• Maths and English Level 2 or above.

Salary:

£32,000 – £40,000 per annum
