Early Years Teacher/Lecturer Mansfield | Wednesday-Friday | Full Days | Temporary Contract | Immediate Start
Vision Talent Solutions is recruiting for an Early Years Lecturer to join a welcoming Further Education College in Mansfield on a temporary basis, working Wednesday to Friday (full days) with an immediate start available.
This role will involve delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students studying Early Years and Childcare programmes. You will play a key role in supporting learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for successful careers within the childcare and education sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional or experienced lecturer looking to make a positive impact within Further Education. The college regularly requires additional teaching staff throughout the academic year, making this a fantastic opportunity to build a relationship with a college that frequently has future opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Early Years and Childcare lessons to FE learners.
- Support students to achieve their academic and practical learning goals.
- Assess, monitor, and record learner progress in line with awarding body requirements.
- Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Provide guidance, encouragement, and pastoral support to learners where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- A qualification in Early Years, Childcare, Education, or a related subject.
- Previous experience working within the Early Years sector.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring learners is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for education and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
