Maths Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis.
You will deliver engaging and effective
GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths lessons to a diverse range of learners, helping them develop confidence, achieve qualifications, and progress towards their educational and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths lessons to FE learners.
- Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality learning activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Support learners to achieve positive outcomes and examination success.
- Maintain accurate learner records and reports.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum and support teams.
About You
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
- Degree or recognised qualification in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
