We are currently recruiting for a highly organised, qualified Pre-Employment Construction Tutor to join our team in Doncaster. This role requires the successful candidate to fully embrace our business ethos to ensure learner completion is achieved to the highest quality.
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-defined curriculum to a high standard, developing learners' knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
- Complete all learner and course-related documentation, including learner files and tracking documents.
- Mentor, observe, and assess learners in classroom or workshop settings, providing feedback and guidance to meet learning standards and attain qualifications.
- Offer information, advice, and guidance to promote learner development and progression.
- Meet company, funding, and awarding organisation requirements.
- Assess learners’ e-portfolio of evidence to verify achievements.
The person & qualifications:
- Experience in classroom-based delivery.
- Experience working with diverse learners.
- IT literate.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to follow processes.
- Enthusiastic and motivated.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience within Construction is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications:
- Teaching qualification at PTLLS or Level 3 AET minimum.
- Assessor award or qualification.
- Level 3 qualification or occupational competence.
- Maths and English at Level 2 or above.
