We are looking for passionate and committed English Lecturers to join our team across colleges in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to support learners in achieving success in GCSE and Foundation Level English.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that motivate and engage students, helping them build essential literacy skills and confidence.
  • Teaching GCSE and foundation-level English (Language and/or Literature).
  • Planning and delivering creative, inclusive, and effective lessons.
  • Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback.
  • Supporting learners to develop reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

About You

  • Hold a degree in English or a related subject.
  • Have teaching experience (FE, secondary, or adult education preferred).
  • Possess a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) - desirable but not essential.
  • Are passionate about improving literacy and student outcomes.
  • Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
