Location: Fraserburgh Campus

Salary: Β£13.86 + Statutory Holiday Pay per hour

The Protocol Group are delighted to partner with North East Scotland College (NESCOL) to recruit a Technician / Cleaner (Catering Workshop Assistant) to support the Hospitality Team at Fraserburgh Campus on a part-time basis.

Here is what you can expect:

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare hospitality kitchens, workshops and learning spaces for practical classes.
  • Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations and teaching areas.
  • Support hospitality staff with the setup and clear down of practical sessions.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times.
  • Monitor supplies of cleaning materials and report replenishment requirements.
  • Assist with general workshop support duties as required.
  • Follow Health & Safety procedures and contribute to a safe learning environment for staff and students.

Qualifications Required

  • Previous experience within a cleaning, catering, hospitality or facilities environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices would be advantageous.
  • A reliable and organised approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Contract Information

This role is available for an immediate start and will run until 22 January 2027 (Academic Block 1).

There may be an opportunity for the assignment to continue until mid-June 2027 (Academic Block 2), subject to operational requirements.
