About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable
A-Level Film Studies Teacher to join a well-established Further Education College in Mansfield on a full-time temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator or suitably qualified Film Studies specialist to inspire and engage students studying A-Level Film Studies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver A-Level Film Studies lessons to a high standard.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities in line with curriculum requirements.
- Monitor and report on student progress and achievement.
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals.
Essential Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
- Relevant qualifications within Film Studies, Media Studies, Film Production, or a related subject area.
- Previous experience teaching Film Studies, ideally at A-Level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- An
- Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the
Update Service , or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
