Bolton College is building a future talent pool of experienced Carpentry & Joinery professionals to support temporary and agency‑based teaching opportunities through Bolton Talent Solutions, the College's internal staffing agency. You will support learners studying Carpentry & Joinery by delivering engaging, practical sessions that develop their technical skills, industry knowledge, and employability, preparing them for careers in the construction sector.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging Carpentry & Joinery teaching in both workshop and classroom settings
  • Support learners to develop practical skills and industry‑relevant knowledge
  • Plan and assess learning in line with awarding body requirements
  • Monitor learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate teaching, assessment, and progress records
  • Promote safe working practices and positive learner behaviours

About the Learners

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery
  • Relevant industry experience within Carpentry & Joinery
