We are looking for an experienced and motivated Programme Tutor Assessor (Data & AI) to join our delivery team. Working across classroom, workplace, and online environments, you will deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment, helping learners develop the practical knowledge and skills required in today's rapidly evolving digital landscape.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning programmes, supporting learners throughout their journey, and building strong relationships with employers and stakeholders to ensure outstanding learner outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering inspiring teaching, learning and assessment through face-to-face and online methods.
- Coaching, mentoring and supporting learners to achieve their goals.
- Monitoring learner progress, attendance, achievement and progression.
- Conducting reviews and setting meaningful targets with learners.
- Maintaining accurate learner records and documentation.
- Ensuring programmes meet awarding body, funding and quality requirements.
- Engaging with employers to support learner development and progression.
- Contributing to quality assurance activities, audits, reviews and inspections.
- Supporting learner recruitment activities and helping maintain programme growth.
- Developing and improving teaching resources and materials.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an individual with strong occupational experience within Data Analytics, Data Management, Data Operations, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, or related digital disciplines.
You will have an excellent understanding of modern data practices and emerging AI technologies, alongside the ability to engage and inspire learners from a range of backgrounds.
Essential Knowledge and Experience
You will have knowledge and experience of areas such as:
Data
- Data collection, storage, management and analysis.
- Data extraction, cleansing, validation and quality assurance.
- Data visualisation and reporting tools.
- Statistical analysis and identifying trends and patterns.
- Data governance, GDPR and ethical use of data.
- Data anonymisation techniques.
- Combining and analysing data from multiple sources.
- Data communication and presenting insights to different audiences.
- The relationship between data, AI, machine learning and IoT technologies.
Artificial Intelligence & Automation
- AI, Generative AI and automation technologies.
- Responsible and ethical AI adoption.
- AI governance, transparency and accountability.
- Automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier and Make.
- Prompt engineering and AI-assisted workflows.
- Human-centred AI design and user experience principles.
- AI solution design, testing and continuous improvement.
- Cyber security, risk management and compliance considerations.
- Productivity improvement through digital transformation and automation.

Qualifications
Applicants should be occupationally competent within the sector and hold relevant industry qualifications.
Teaching and assessment qualifications are desirable; however, applications are welcomed from industry professionals willing to work towards:
- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (or equivalent).
- Assessor qualification (CAVA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent).
