We are currently supporting a number of Further Education colleges across London with their Maths provision and are looking to connect with experienced GCSE and Functional Skills Maths Lecturers. With teaching needs arising regularly throughout the academic year, we are keen to speak with qualified lecturers who are interested in upcoming opportunities and flexible teaching assignments.
The Role
- Deliver GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills Maths to post‑16 learners
- Plan and deliver engaging, learner-focused lessons
- Support learners of varying abilities, including resit students
- Monitor progress and provide targeted feedback to improve outcomes
- Work closely with curriculum and support teams
Requirements
- Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent) preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
