We are currently recruiting for a Curriculum Manager - Construction on behalf of a well-established Further Education College. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced education leader to take responsibility for the management, development and performance of a Construction curriculum area, ensuring an outstanding experience for students and apprentices whilst driving quality, achievement and growth.

Reporting to the Director of School, you will lead curriculum staff to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of Construction programmes. You will play a key role in curriculum planning, quality improvement, staff development, employer engagement and ensuring provision remains responsive to local skills needs and industry demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Construction curriculum teams to achieve excellent student and apprentice outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning and assessment through effective quality assurance processes.
  • Monitor and analyse performance data, implementing interventions to improve achievement, attendance, retention and progression.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans which meet local, regional and national skills priorities.
  • Manage staffing, recruitment, performance reviews and professional development within the department.
  • Oversee curriculum budgets, resource planning and financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with awarding body, funding and quality assurance requirements.
  • Promote positive student and apprentice experiences, ensuring appropriate support is in place to maximise success.

Must have:

  • A strong understanding of quality assurance, curriculum planning and performance management.
  • Experience of driving improvements in student achievement and teaching quality.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
  • The ability to analyse data and use performance information to drive improvements.
