Role: CELTA Trainer
Location: Hammersmith
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 4 Weeks
Hours: 23 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- 3 full working days
- 2 half working days
- Some flexibility available, so candidates are encouraged to advise their preferred working pattern
Pay Rate
- £33.10 per hour preferred
- Up to £37.79 per hour may be considered for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess the CELTA qualification to trainee teachers
- Provide high-quality training, coaching, and feedback throughout the programme
- Support trainees in meeting CELTA standards and assessment requirements
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
- Ensure the course is delivered to awarding body and client expectations
Essential Requirements
- Hold a CELTA qualification
- Previous experience delivering and assessing CELTA programmes
- Strong understanding of English language teaching methodology
- Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Ability to deliver engaging and supportive training to adult learners
Desirable
- Experience working with external clients and delivering intensive teacher training programmes
- Relevant teaching qualifications and substantial ESOL/EFL teaching experience
