An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Lecturer in Electrical Installations to join a thriving Built Environment department.
This role is ideal for an experienced lecturer or an industry professional looking to move into teaching and training. You will play a key role in developing learners' practical skills, technical knowledge, and industry readiness within the Electrical Installations sector.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging practical and theoretical Electrical Installations lessons.
- Planning, preparing and developing course materials.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Providing tutorial and pastoral support to students.
- Supporting curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Completing all associated administrative duties in line with departmental requirements.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant industry experience within Electrical Installations.
- A minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Domestic and Commercial Electrical Installations or a related discipline.
- Strong technical and practical knowledge of the industry.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting learners to achieve their goals.
