Construction Technician Required in Cambridge
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Technician to join our team on a long-term temporary basis in Cambridge, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
This is a varied role that involves supporting multiple trades across active construction sites. We welcome applications from candidates with previous construction or trade experience who are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespeople across a range of construction activities.
- Supporting site operations to ensure projects run efficiently.
- Carrying out general construction and labouring duties.
- Moving materials, tools, and equipment around site.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Undertaking additional duties as required by site management.
Requirements
- Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred.
- Experience working alongside trades such as carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, or groundworkers would be advantageous.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of site health and safety practices.
- CSCS card preferred but not essential, depending on experience.
