Bolton Talent Solutions (BTS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Theatre Support Worker Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor to support apprentices undertaking the Theatre Support Worker pathway within the Healthcare Support Worker programme.
This is a part‑time agency opportunity, working every Monday throughout the academic year, supporting apprentices in developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to work effectively within perioperative and theatre environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess apprenticeship standards within Theatre Support Worker programmes.
- Conduct progress reviews, assessments and learner support sessions.
- Support apprentices in achieving qualification and apprenticeship milestones.
- Liaise with employers and workplace mentors.
- Maintain accurate learner documentation and compliance records.
- Provide coaching, guidance and pastoral support.
- Ensure delivery meets awarding body, funding and quality standards.
Essential Requirements
- Occupational experience within operating theatres, perioperative care, healthcare support or a related clinical environment.
- Relevant Health qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Assessor qualification (CAVA, A1, D32/D33) or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship delivery and assessment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
