This role is ideal for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor or senior Front of House professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering high-quality service, and mentoring others. This is not just a restaurant role. You'll support Signature, Bolton College's live training restaurant, plus a range of catering and hospitality events delivered across the college.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading Front of House service during restaurant openings and college events
  • Acting as the senior FOH lead on shift
  • Managing service flow, standards, and customer experience
  • Teaching, coaching, and mentoring catering & hospitality students during live service
  • Supporting learners to develop real-world customer service and teamwork skills
  • Overseeing set-up, service, PDQ/cash handling, and close-down
  • Adapting to varying departmental needs and event schedules

Essential Experience & Qualification:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or Senior FOH professional
  • Strong Front of House team leadership experience
  • Recognised catering or hospitality qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Confidence leading service independently in public facing environments
  • A professional, calm, and supportive leadership style
  • Experience in teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring is highly desirable.
