Protocol Education are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Enfield who are looking to appoint an inspiring Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about creating a positive learning environment and helping children build strong foundations in their education.

The role:

  • Teach a Year 1 class across the full primary curriculum
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
  • Assess and track pupil progress effectively

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • A strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A creative, enthusiastic and child-centred approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
