Protocol Education is working with a range of specialist SEN and SEMH schools across Bristol and is looking for experienced Primary Teachers who want flexible, ad hoc work that genuinely makes a difference. Whether you’re looking to balance work around life, ease back into teaching, or simply prefer variety, this is a chance to use your SEN skills where they’re truly valued.
As a supply Primary Teacher, you’ll step into a range of specialist settings supporting children with:
- Autism
- SEMH
- Complex additional needs
No two days are the same, but the goal always is to create calm, consistency and safety, while supporting learning in a way that works for each child. You might be covering planned absences, short-term needs or day-to-day supply. Some days will be challenging, others incredibly rewarding, and all will rely on your ability to adapt, connect and respond to pupils as individuals.
We’re keen to hear from teachers who:
- Hold QTS
- Have experience in SEN and/or SEMH settings
- Are confident managing behaviour with empathy and structure
- Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Are flexible, resilient and solution-focused
