The role involves ensuring both internal and public examinations run smoothly and in line with awarding body regulations. Creating a calm, focused environment is essential, helping students perform at their best during key assessment periods. You’ll be expected to work confidently on your own, as well as part of a wider invigilation team, responding appropriately to any unexpected situations.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator in a school setting is desirable, but not essential
- A calm, professional manner and the ability to remain composed under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confidence following procedures and instructions
- Flexible, reliable, and able to use initiative
- Knowledge of exam regulations is an advantage, full training will be provided
