Contract: Daily supply / flexible cover

Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Support Teaching Assistants to provide daily cover at our friendly and inclusive primary schools in Watford. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is adaptable, and is passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

The Role:

  • Providing classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as required
  • Supporting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson activities and classroom management
  • Supporting children with additional needs where necessary
  • Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with primary-aged children (school-based experience preferred)
  • Be flexible, proactive and confident stepping into different classrooms
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be patient, nurturing and able to build positive relationships with pupils
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
