Seeking a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant! Do you want to make a difference? Do you love working with children or vulnerable adults and have a passion for special needs? Do you have a healthcare or social care background? Or even had personal experience supporting SEND? If so, then this is the role for you.

Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a specialist school in Upminster. You will be joining a great team that predominantly work with children who have a variety of special needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD and PMLD. Therefore, a desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary!

A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important. Certificates in Manual handling, Hoist, First Aid, Care would be admired.

This school require staff on a long term, full-time and permanent basis (5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-15:30pm).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
