Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? A specialist SEN provision in Peterlee is looking to recruit a Trainee SEN Support Worker to join their dedicated support team.
The Role
- Supporting pupils throughout the school day
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Assisting with classroom learning activities
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and social development
- Building positive and supportive relationships
The school welcomes applicants from care, youth work, coaching and support backgrounds and offers excellent training and development opportunities. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced DBS check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
