About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development within the classroom.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils' academic progress, encourage positive behaviour, and help create an engaging learning environment where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting students' educational, social, and emotional development.
- Encouraging student engagement and participation in learning activities.
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or similar setting is desirable.
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
