We’re working with a forward-thinking Ofsted-rated “Good” school that prides itself on excellent DT facilities, a collaborative department, and strong student engagement across KS3–KS5.
What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching Design Technology across KS3–KS5 (with a specialism in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Food Technology depending on expertise)
- Delivering engaging, practical lessons that develop creativity and technical skills
- Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level coursework and examinations
- Supporting the development of an innovative and inclusive DT curriculum
- Contributing to enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, competitions, and trips
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with a background in Design Technology
- Experience teaching DT at KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence with workshop practice and/or CAD/CAM software
- A teacher who can inspire, challenge, and support learners of all abilities
