Teacher of Computing (Full or Part Time)

I am recruiting a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Computing to join this highly successful school .

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and stimulating Computing lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.

Set appropriate learning expectations and targets for improvement, promoting a love for computing among all pupils.

Motivate, challenge, and inspire our students to raise attainment levels.

Develop curriculum materials to enhance learning at KS3, GCSE, and A Level.

Utilize online platforms effectively to support students\’ learning.

Teach coding in multiple traditional languages (, JavaScript, Python/HTML) and visual languages (, Scratch, Blockly, AppInventor).

Contribute to fostering a culture of high expectations within the computing department.

Demonstrate drive, enthusiasm, warmth, and humour in your teaching approach.

Collaborate with colleagues and work as a team to create a supportive learning environment.

Engage in clubs, societies, and additional revision sessions throughout the year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
