SEN Teaching Assistant Required - Sutton

The Role
- Supporting pupils with physical disabilities on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning where required
- Promoting independence, confidence, and social development
- Supporting mobility and personal care needs where necessary
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children or young people with physical disabilities
- Experience within a school, SEN setting, care environment, or similar support role
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Relevant experience supporting individuals with additional needs
