About the Role

We are recruiting a Primary SEMH Teacher to support pupils within an alternative provision setting in South Shields. The role involves delivering a nurturing, engaging curriculum while supporting pupils’ emotional development and re-engagement with learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Support pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges.
  • Establish consistent routines and expectations.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and families.

Skills & Experience

  • QTS essential.
  • Experience supporting SEMH pupils is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
