We’re working with a specialist SEND school in Sunderland that supports pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), complex needs, and sensory impairments. Their ethos centres on care, respect, and achievement, creating a truly nurturing and inclusive space for every learner.

They’re now looking for a skilled HLTA to support teaching and learning across the school, leading small-group sessions, supporting with planning and delivery, and working alongside a passionate team who believe in every child’s potential.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading planned learning activities and interventions across different key stages
  • Supporting pupils with complex needs using communication tools and sensory strategies
  • Assisting with EHCP targets and contributing to planning and assessment
