So, what could you be doing?
- Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Work alongside students who need additional support to thrive in school. You could be providing 1:1 support, working with small groups or simply being that calm, consistent person a student can rely on. Perfect if you’re considering teaching, educational psychology, SEND or youth work.
- Mental Health Support Worker - Interested in psychology, wellbeing or pastoral support? You could be helping young people manage their emotions, build confidence, regulate their behaviour and feel safe and supported in school.
- Cover Supervisor - Fancy getting classroom experience without committing to teacher training just yet? Cover Supervising is a brilliant stepping stone. You’ll lead lessons, keep students on track and gain genuine experience in front of a class — without the planning and marking.
