We’re working with SEN schools and Pupil Referral Units across Stockton who are looking for calm, compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils who need a bit more understanding, structure, and patience.
If you’ve got experience in SEN and a steady, can-do approach, you’ll fit right in. You’ll be supporting students with a range of additional needs, helping them feel safe, engaged, and ready to learn.
- Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Autism or PMLD
- Helping manage behaviour and build trust
Whether it’s a specialist SEN school or a PRU setting, your presence will make a real impact. Immediate start roles available with supportive school teams who value what you bring.
Experience working with children or young people with SEN is essential, along with confidence supporting needs like ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and challenging behaviours. A SEN qualification or a care-based qualification is preferred, as well as an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
