We're working with a range of welcoming primary, secondary and SEND schools across Teesside that are looking for confident, caring Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support learning and make a real difference every day.
What you'll be doing
- Lead planned lessons when the class teacher is away
- Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging, creative learning
- Help children with a range of learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs
- Monitor progress and share feedback with teaching staff
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every pupil feels supported
- Follow safeguarding procedures and help maintain a safe learning environment
We're looking for someone who:
- Has HLTA status or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Feels confident leading whole-class learning when needed
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
- Is organised, adaptable and happy to muck in wherever needed
- Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
- Wants to help children grow in confidence and achieve their best
