What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils with speech, language, and communication needs
- Working 1:1 or in small groups to build confidence and skills
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
- Creating tailored therapy plans that actually work in a classroom setting
- Helping children feel heard, understood, and ready to learn
What schools are looking for:
- A qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered or equivalent)
- Experience working with children, ideally in school or SEND settings
- A calm, patient approach with a good sense of humour
- Someone who can build trust and rapport with pupils
