Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant Location: Camden, London Full-time Role Salary: £85 – £120 per day We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team in Camden. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary based on experience, with a range of £85 to £120 per day. Key Responsibilities: Support students with a variety of special educational needs, ensuring they have access to a meaningful and engaging learning experience. Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual students' needs. Provide one-on-one support for students with emotional, physical, or learning disabilities. Help create a positive and inclusive environment for all students. Work closely with other staff members and professionals to deliver the best support possible. Monitor and record students’ progress, providing feedback to the teacher and other professionals as required. Essential Criteria: At least 1 year of experience working in a special needs school. A strong passion for working with children with special educational needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to be patient, flexible, and empathetic when supporting students. A proactive and positive approach to work. Relevant qualifications (such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) would be advantageous, but not essential.
