You do not need to be a qualified teacher; if you have led classrooms, youth clubs, tutored, or worked as a supply teacher, then we would love to have you working with our schools.
We are a busy agency who many schools rely upon for General Cover, looking for reliable, pro-active Cover Supervisors to join our strong team of educators. We offer roles in convenient locations near you that are flexible to your availability, whether you want to work 2 days or 5. What you’ll be doing:
- Stepping into lessons across a range of subjects (no planning required!)
- Delivering pre-set work and keeping students engaged
- Managing behaviour in a calm, confident way, communicating with warmth and consistency
- Building quick rapport with students while keeping things professional
Experience that works well in this role:
- Sports coaching or youth work – if you can manage a football team, you can manage a class
- Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor experience – already familiar with the school atmosphere? Even better
- Drama, tutoring, Scouts/Guides leadership – anything that involves leading, guiding, and keeping young minds focused
